Back in 2018, an idea was born, and the wheels of a community project started turning, seeing the dilapidated building that was Levenshulme South train station transform into a destination cycle café, bar, urban garden, co-working space, and community hangout.

 

Our project there is ongoing, we are currently designing a vestibule, significant storage solutions and outside furniture. As part of the creation of the internal space, we designed and built the magnificent Station South ‘Track Of Champions’ velodrome bar! As huge cycle enthusiasts ourselves, it was an honour to put our signature on this bar made from reclaimed track of the National Cycling Centre velodrome in Manchester, which has felt the rubber of cycling stars such as Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Sarah Storey and Sir Bradley Wiggins. Very cool indeed.
